Terms of Service

These terms cover Event Hunter, run by CK Ventures LLC of Harrisburg, North Carolina. Using the service means agreeing to them. They are short on purpose.

What Event Hunter is

Software for mobile food trailer operators. It finds events near you, estimates what you would take home from each, tracks applications and documents, and records what events actually made.

The estimates are estimates

This is the important part. Event Hunter produces a predicted take-home figure for events it has never seen, from attendance numbers organizers supply and assumptions you configure. Those figures are estimates, not promises, and they will sometimes be wrong.

The app is built to be honest about this — where it cannot price an event it says “needs info” rather than inventing a number, and where a figure came from an assumption rather than an organizer it says so. Take the estimates as one input to your own judgement. You decide which events to work, and the outcome of that decision is yours.

Event listings come from public sources and third parties. We do not guarantee an event exists, that the details are current, or that a booth is available.

The founding beta

Right now Event Hunter is a limited beta. That means:

• It is free. No card is required and none is stored.
• Things will break. Features may change or be withdrawn. There is no uptime commitment.
• Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. Do not let this be the only place your certificate of insurance exists.
• We may contact you directly about how it is going. That is the point of a beta — telling us when it is wrong is what you are here for.

Founding members were offered a rate held after the beta ends. We intend to honour that. If pricing ever starts, you will be told in advance and nothing will be charged without you agreeing to it first.

Your account

Keep your login details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has them. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One account per business; a workspace can have several people in it.

Your data is yours

Everything you put in — events, bookings, actuals, documents, settings — remains yours. We store and process it to run the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell it, and we do not use one operator's figures to advantage another.

Ask for a copy at any time. Ask for deletion at any time. Neither costs anything.

What you agree not to do

• Scrape or resell the event data as a product of your own.
• Try to reach another operator's workspace.
• Upload anything you do not have the right to hold.
• Use the outreach drafts to send bulk unsolicited email. They are for writing to an organizer about a specific event.

The AI features carry per-workspace daily limits so one account cannot exhaust the service for everyone. Those limits may be adjusted.

Ending it

Stop whenever you like — ask and your account and data are removed. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and will say why. If Event Hunter shuts down, beta members get at least 30 days' notice and a way to export everything.

Liability

Event Hunter is provided as is, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, CK Ventures LLC is not liable for lost profits, a bad event, a missed deadline, or business decisions made using its output. Since the beta is free, any liability is limited to what you have paid, which is nothing.

None of this limits liability for fraud or anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing law

North Carolina law applies, and disputes go to the state or federal courts of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. Before that, email — most things can be sorted out directly.

Changes

Material changes will be emailed to beta members before they take effect, not quietly posted.
